Every week, Klawansky sends a photo to his family and friends - he's been doing so for 115 weeks. There is only one rule that regulates the images - they cannot be cropped, photoshopped or in any other way fiddled with. This is why the series is called 'nevercropimages'. The artist's thoughts on what this image represents: "Obama being projected into a dark empty room. Obama squandered. Obama naive, perhaps. Perhaps the public was never ever really there to listen to him, even though the public elected him. Maybe the public elected his smiling image and wasn't interested in what was behind it."
