The drawing started with a reproduction of the stars in the seasonal sky at about 9pm. The transfer is technically accurate regarding the location and magnitude of each star. This armature was abstracted and altered to create a visual response and re-interpretation. Here is a universal symbol that connects us to an earlier time where we huddled around a campfire's blaze for warmth, food, or protection. It is here that we have looked up at the stars and have contemplated our past and become curious about our future. Acrylic, watercolor, ink, enamel, stainless steel pigment and graphite on panel
